At Becoming Church, we’re a community growing in trust—in God’s love for us and in how that love reshapes the way we show up for the people around us.
We are not arriving.
We are not presenting ourselves as finished
We are not claiming to embody the fullness of what the Church is meant to be.
We chose the name Becoming Church because it’s honest.
To say we are Becoming Church is to confess humility. It is to acknowledge that the Church is something God has already ordained and sustained long before us, and that we are being invited into its ongoing life.
This posture invites us to:

Humility - because we are unfinished.

Curiosity - because we believe the Spirit continues to expand our imagination.

Hope - because God is not done forming a people who cultivate a shared life that participates in Christ’s with-ness and witness.
